Jan Brychta has been the editor-in-chief of DigiZone.cz since January 2016. Before that he worked as an editor in the weeklies Marketing&Media and Strategie and as a reporter for the television show Občanské judo. He can boast marketing and PR experience from his time at Český rozhlas (Czech Radio Broadcasting). He is a graduate of the College of Publicity and Social and Media Studies
He graduated from VŠCHT in Prague. He worked as a programmer; in 1990 – 2007, he was expert journalist focused on IT. He managed the Softwarové noviny and Inside magazines. Since 2008, he has been active as freelance analyst and consultant. He provides external lectures at the Department of Information Technologies at the Prague University of Economics. His professional interests include sociology and economy of informatics, safety and mobile technologies.

David Duron has many years of experience with top management positions at the telecommunications and Internet companies in the Czech Republic and also abroad. In October 2013, he started working in the O2 Czech Republic as the director of marketing for the household segment. Since February 2016, he has been the director of O2TV as he has also become responsible for the team of O2 TV Sport. Before joining the O2 Czech Republic, he worked 6 years at Vodafone in the role of marketing director for the segment business clients. He joined Vodafone from the position of CEO of Altas.cz and Atlas.sk. In the years 2003 - 2004, he led the marketing department of Czech Telecom, where he was responsible for launching services like Internet Express, the portal Starzone.cz or a new voice tariffs structure.
David has a wonderful wife and two fantastic kids, he likes to run and is involved in charitable activities in Equatorial Africa - specifically in Ghana. In the Czech Republic, he cooperates with the endowment fund called "Dar sluchu”. He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, where he now lectures in the course "Strategic Marketing".

Steve is a highl successful media sales director with over 10 years experience in the industry providing premium digital video delivery technologies to large organisations across the globe. He has gained strong market knowledge and a particular skill for introducing new technologies into new markets through his long career in the digital sector which has included senior roles at SeaChange, Motorola, Cisco and Pace. In his role at Brightcove Steve is responsible for managing the premium media business in EMEA working with large clients within the broadcast, publishing, sports and new media markets helping them to drive reach and revenue across mobile and OTT platforms. Steve holds a masters of engineering degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Aston and an MBA from the Bradford University School of Management.

Milan Fridrich has been Director of Programming at Czech Television (Česká televize) since 2011. From 2007 to 2010, he was the director of news, current affairs and sports at this company. In August 2010, he became the CEO of the newly established New Media division at Czech Television. Milan Fridrich is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and the Prague Business Institute. From 1998 to 2005, he was a permanent correspondent for Czech Radio Broadcasting (Český rozhlas) and then for the daily Hospodářské noviny in Brussels. In 2005, he joined Czech Television as Editor-in-Chief of the newly created ČT24 news channel. Since 2011, he has been teaching modern media at the University of Economics in Prague, a subject he has written numerous articles about. He has been Vice President of the Television Committee of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) since 2015. In 2011, he received the main prize of the “Křišťálová lupa” Czech Internet awards for Czech Television Web and Mobile Projects.
Daniel Grunt graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Czech University of Life Science Prague and he received an MBA from UNYP. Previously, he has worked, as the Product and Marketing Director of Centrum.cz, a Multimedia Business Manager at Nokia and as the Director of Internet at TV Nova. Before joining FTV Prima, he worked at Sanoma Media Prague as the Director of New Media. In his current position as the Director PRIMA ON-LINE he is responsible for all activities related to new media, such as online and mobile strategies and website development, etc.

Before joining PRO-ZETA, Jakub Kabourek held the position of CEO in nangu.TV, delivering IPTV platforms to firms such as O2 TV. His professional career began in Czech Telecom, where he took part in its successful distribution service. In 2004 he left for Visual Connection, where he worked on projects such as digitalization of Langweil’s model, i-Legal, iBroadcast, Voyo.cz, Topfun, The Revealed and in 2006 the birth of the first Czech CDN NaCeVi. In 2011 after its spinoff as KIT Digital Czech from its parent company, he led the company’s rebranding as CEO to Visual Unity. His side-career as ice hockey referee has progressively morphed into recreational cycling, tennis and chess.
Pavel Kohout, 39 years, married, 3 sons. He has been working at the position of Executive Manager of New Media in the Czech Television (= ČT, Česká televize). He passed to ČT from Prima Online where he worked as head of development department ad formerly as head of Internet department at FTV Prima. Previously, he worked as manager of a software company. He started his professional career as programmer. In 1996, he stood at the cradle of the first Czech multimedia encyclopaedia on CD-ROM. He likes to devote his leisure time to his family, floorball and music.

Michal Krsek is a veteran of the Internet, telecommunications, very high quality video transmissions and commercialisation of technological results of research and development. He has been successfully manoeuvring the boundary of academia vs. business and internet infrastructure vs. video content transmission. His is currently the CCO of Stream Circle, cloud platforms providing linear broadcasting of video content for the Internet.
Lenka has a degree in Dramatic Theory and Criticism from the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU). This year, however, she is completing her studies at the department of New Media Studies of Charles University in Prague. She spent a year browsing through the new media floors of Czech Television as a member of the social media team. She also worked on the #volby2014 project, which urged the Czech political establishment to tweet. Since 2015, she has been analysing social network data at the Research & Development Department at Socialbakers. In addition to the boundless need to analyse almost anything wherever and whenever, she enjoys life on networks, artificial intelligence, and anything remotely geeky and Swedish. Petr Lněnička is the CEO and one of the founders of Vertical Images, one of the fastest growing companies operating unmanned aircraft. At the company, he is chiefly an innovator and promoter of new solutions and procedures. He is an experienced and award-winning filmmaker and photographer. He became interested in unmanned aircraft through piloting “real” planes. This is why he understands the legal and safety requirements of their operation. He is also the chairman and founding member of the Czech Association of Professional Operators of Unmanned Aircraft (Česká asociace profesionálních provozovatelů bezpilotních letadel) and takes part in drafting regulations on the operation of unmanned aircraft in the Czech Republic.
Petr Mazanec is head of development of applications for smart TV sets at Mautilus, s.r.o. that, since 2011, has prepared dozens of television applications for customers from all over the world, for infinite number of models of TV sets and set-top boxes from all important manufacturers: Samsung, LG, Philips, Panasonic, Sony, Toshiba or VESTEL. An overwhelming majority of the implemented projects consists of OTT applications, often interconnected with mobile phones and tablets. When Peter is not in his office, he plays tennis or travels with his family across the countries of former Yugoslavia or the USSR. He has neither computer nor TV set at home.

Tomáš Surák is Marketing Manager at Atmedia, which commercially represents thematic television stations in the Czech and Slovak markets. He is a graduate of the Czech Technical University in Prague. He has been part of Atmedia since 2012, where he is charge of media research, marketing and new projects. He is interested in new technology in media and marketing. He spends most of his free time doing sports.
David Uhlmann is a Video Solutions Consultant for Google in EMEA. He is an expert on Dynamic Ad Insertion and its complexities with video ad insertion from the player to the cloud. Prior to working at Google, David was CTO of the live video streaming agency Streaming Tank and co-founder of the Spanish digital agency Ittakus.

Tomáš Vyskočil’s career has been closely tied to movies and TV series ever since his youth when he founded the film magazine FilmPub.cz; his next project was the Edna.cz portal focusing on TV shows and today he runs the Filmtoro online search engine for movies available for online purchase. He worked as a manager for Atlas.cz, Seznam.cz and H1.cz. He dreams of a future where films and TV shows aren’t pirated but easily available on smart TVs.
